Happy (almost) New Year! 2009 is upon us. Check out our post on New Years Eve costumes to get a sense of what to wear. If you didn't get a chance to snag a costume in time, here are some other suggestions for jazzing up your NYE.
1) SPARKLES. Anything sequined, anything glittery- all of the above need apply. New Years Eve is the one night of the year when it's totally acceptable to go insane with the sparkles, so deck yourself out in 99 cent glitter from the drugstore!
2) COLORS. Anything colorful is welcome. Dress yourself as a rainbow or simply pick one bright color to showcase. Pair a bright dress with a pair of black tights and you're ready to go.
3) DECORATIONS! The number one most important thing about New Years is decorating. This means anything from decorating your home to providing props for party goers.
