I was invited to a party this past week and there were to be a lot of original Club Kids in attendance. I don't know if you're aware of the Club Kid culture in the late 80's and early 90's, but they were a group of young party goers following the legendary Michael Alig. He was a promoter for the club Limelight in New York City and began a new era of clubland with close friend and influential socialite James St. James. They were well known for their outrageous costumes and equally unique party locations all over the city. In time this brought them international fame after television interviews as well as a recruiting tour in search of new Club Kids. I found the whole idea a little intriguing...
